Engineering services related to capacity increase and optimization of the industrial wastewater treatment plants of the Schwarze Pumpe Waste Material Recycling Center (SVZ Schwarze Pumpe)

Consulting services related to the operation and upgrading of the physical-chemical preliminary wastewater treatment as well as the high-rate activated sludge process and the final biological purification for the highly polluted wastewater from the waste material gasification systems of the SVZ Schwarze Pumpe.

The services were performed in cooperation with the Institute for Residential and Industrial Water Management of Dresden Technical University. Upon completion of these services, the elimination of nitrogen, which had not been previously feasible, as well as compliance with the specified effluent values, have been assured. Impending constraints that would have limited production levels were averted.
